Simon Lin
Hi! I’m Simon Lin and I just finished my undergraduate degree in Environmental Engineering at the University of Waterloo. I currently work as a USRA at the Basu Lab and will be starting my Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (Water) here under the supervision of Dr. Nandita Basu and Dr. James Craig.
Research Interests I am interested in quantifying anthropogenic effects on water resources. Specifically, I hope to identify and better understand key processes that influence the overall hydrologic and biogeochemical signatures of watersheds. I aim to improve environmental models in such a way that makes data science accessible and relevant for decision-makers addressing the sustainable development of water resources.
